Philippe Clermont has more than 30 years of experience in the technology markets like IT, semiconductor, telecom, aerospace, defense, security... He started his professional carreer in computer development research. Subsequently, at the strategy department of the Direction Générale de l'Armement/DGA, he participated in the orientation and steering of R&D programs and public policies in the aerospace sector.
He is also experienced in managing fast growing SMEs in the technology sectors. He founded and run a technology startup in the IT sector in the early 1990s, developing US operations with US VC financing (San Francisco, Silicon Valley).
Prior to founding Sully Partners he was an investment director and member of the Management Committee, of one of the investment companies of the Caisse des Dépôts group targeting venture capital and growth equity investments.
Philippe is co-president of the aerospace, defense and security sector group of the SFAF (French Society of Financial Analysts), contributing to the understanding of specific issues of the sector by the analysts and the asset managers community.

Before to joining Sully Partners, Xavier Caron co-founded Quartile Partners in 2011, a corporate finance and family office consulting boutique. At Quartile Partners, he carried out M&A advisory and strategic consulting assignments, including: Advisory services to Vidal's management team, a firm under Lbo, buy-side advisory assignment for Eurotunnel group, advisory role in the merger of the Eoliance group and the Quinoa group, a transaction that contributed to form a leader in the ventilation systems equipment industry in France.
Previously, between 2007 and 2010, he led the fund of funds team at BNP Paribas Private Equity.
Between 1999 and 2007, he was co-founder of CPR Private Equity (now Amundi PEF) where he advised French institutional investors in the definition and deployment of their Private Equity allocation. He then acquired extensive Private Equity experience.
From 1996 to 1999, he participated in the development of CPR Bank's investment banking activities, where he carried out advisory assignments and played a key role in the position taken by CPR in advisory and placement services for capital raising and IPOs for medium-sized and technology companies.
Previously, after a first experience at Crédit National, Xavier Caron worked in the corporate and investment banking activities of Crédit du Nord.

Jean-Claude Vannier has a long experience at a senior level in banking and finance, as well as a strong expertise in the real estate, building and construction sectors.
His professional career has been dedicated to both corporate and retail banking in the Credit Lyonnais Group (1977-2000) where he was successively head of the retail and coporate banking departments and member of the executive committee.
He has gained a long experience in the real estate, development and construction sectors as a member of the Executive Committee of Entenial Bank (2000-2004) and senior advisor of the president of Crédit Foncier (2004-2009). He is a member of a number of French institutions acting in this sector:
National Council of Habitat (CNH);
Council n ° 3 of the "Grenelle de l'Environnement";
Office of "Grenelle Building Plan" (a committee set up in 2009 by the government to work with the construction and housing industries on efficient energy and environmental issues;
Energy Building Foundation.
